Prospective Students
The Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences prepares students for a profession in public health. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills to address public health challenges through our program options.
Students can choose to pursue the MPH degree alone or through an approved joint degree (MSW/MPH, MD/MPH, MANFS/MPH) program.
For current Wayne State undergraduate students, the MPH program participates in the Accelerated Master’s Pathway Program (AMP) which is meant for all majors. See the AMP link below for more information.
The online Bridge Graduate Certificate (BGC) is perfect for those students who would like to get foundational knowledge in public health.
