Prospective Students

The Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences prepares students for a profession in public health. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills to address public health challenges through our program options.

Students can choose to pursue the MPH degree alone or through an approved joint degree (MSW/MPH, MD/MPH, MANFS/M.P.H) program.

For current Wayne State undergraduate students, the MPH program participates in the Accelerated Graduate Enrollment (AGRADE) which is meant for highly qualified students in the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) major or minor.

The Bridge Graduate Certificate (BGC) is perfect for those students who would like to get foundation knowledge in public health.
