Curriculum
Candidates must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours of course work. A grade point average of 3.0 in certificate coursework must be maintained. All work must be completed within three years. The GC-PHP Program requires completion of the following core courses (11 credit hours):
- FPH 7010 Seminar in Public Health (1 credit)
- FPH 7240 Epidemiology I (3 credits)
- FPH 7015 Biostatistics I (4 credits)
- OEH 7420 Principles of Environmental Health (3 credits)
Electives may be taken within or outside the Department. However, on completion of 9-12 credit hours of course work, individuals in good academic standing have the option to transfer all course credits to an MPH plan of work. Individuals interested in pursuing the MPH degree are recommended to choose MPH required courses (see below) as electives in the GC-PHP Program so as to expedite their ultimate completion of the MPH degree.
Candidates must complete a minimum total of 42 credit hours of work. A grade point average of 3.0 in MPH coursework must be maintained. All work must be completed within six years. The following represent the MPH required core didactic and capstone courses and the current range of available elective courses:

Employee and Organizational Health could consider including the following courses in their MPH plan of work:

- FPH 7880 Organizational Determinants of Employee Health & Productivity (3 credits)
