Biography
Dr. Rachel Mahas is the MPH Program Director and an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences in the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Her Ph.D. studies in Health Education were completed at the University of Toledo in 2016. She completed her Master of Science degree in Basic Medical Sciences at Wayne State University and Master of Public Health degree from Georgia Southern University. Her research interests include: racial/ethnic inequities in health, cancer prevention and control, and adolescent health (HIV/AIDS education).
