Biography

Dr. Victoria Neale served on the Wayne State University Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences faculty from 1984-2023. She retired as Professor and Vice Chair of Public Heath Sciences. With an interest in biomedical publishing, she also served for 17 years as Deputy Editor for the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, and as Editor-in-Chief of Family Practice (a journal of the Oxford University Press). Dr. Neale was also active in building and promoting primary care research via practice-based research networks.
