Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences Meets with Delegation from Japan's Okayama University
On January 31st, the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences' Chair, Jinping Xu, MD, MS, FAAFP, met with a delegation from Japan's Okayama University on their interest in medicine and public health. Dr. Xu was accompanied by the department's MPH Program Director, Rachel Mahas, PhD, MS, MPH, and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Chair, Patricia Wren, PhD, MPH.
During the meeting, Drs. Xu and Mahas discussed options for Okayama University's School of Health Sciences students interested in a certificate/degree in public health.
The delegation comprised of: Professor Satoshi Hirohata, Dean of Graduate School of Health Sciences; Professor Toshihiro Iguchi, International Working Leader, Graduate School of Health Scienes; Professor Atsushi Ono, Dean, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences; and Associate Professor, Hirotaka Kakuda.
Dr. Huajing Maske, PhD, Assistant Vice President of International Partnersnips Academic Student Affairs and Global Engagement facilitated this meeting.
