On Saturday, October 1, 2022, Beaumont Wayne celebrated their 50th Anniversary of the Family Medicine Residency Program. The event was hosted by Drs. Scott Yaekle, MD (WSU Graduate), Wafa Algahmi, MD (WSU Graduate) and Alison Nesbitt, DO. 

Dr. Margit Chadwell, MD, FAAFP, Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Career Development, Associate Professor, DFMPHS was a guest speaker. 

Current and former faculty and residents were in attendance at the event.
