The Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences had an outstanding productive year in 2020 for scholarly activity. Despite the pandemic and the sudden shift to virtual teaching and research activities, our department faculty surpassed expectations. Faculty were invited to present their work at 40 national, regional and local conferences and seminars.  Most compelling were the large number of peer-reviewed publications in 2020 totaling 52. Kudos to our faculty for disseminating their scholarship and representing Wayne State and our department.
