DOEH faculty directs the DFMPHS’ MPH course “Organizational Determinants of Employee Health and Productivity (FPH 7880). The course offers a comprehensive review of how organizational and leadership factors impact on employee health and productivity. Within the framework of employee health and productivity, the course also discusses organizational citizenship, employee engagement, stress, violence and discrimination, organizational fairness, and bullying. Moreover, the course reviews the link between organizational health and customer satisfaction. Participants will also write their own paper on a relevant topic. DOEH offers a comprehensive and very popular course in applied Occupational and Environmental Health. The course offers health practitioners, including residents, interested in enhancing their OEM knowledge a hands-on part-time 4 weeks course focusing on the science, legalities, and practice of occupational and environmental health. The course is taught by experienced by WSU experienced OEM faculty. Participants also get to visit various industries.
