Eleanor King, Family Medicine Program Director at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital since 2021, has won a 2023 Ascension Medical Group Excellence in Medicine Award. The AMG's Michigan Physician Well-Being Committee established the award to recognize thsoe physicians who exemplify Ascension's values via "their volunteerism, good works, and dedication to the care of the underserved and exceptional service to their patients and colleagues." One of five Family Medicine physicians practicing in AMG sites in Michigan to receive the award, Dr. King was nominated by her peers at APRH. She is a 2015 graduate of the WSUSOM and a 2018 graduate of the WSUGME Family Medicine Residency Program.
