DFMPHS Research Day April 19, 2017
The 2017 WSU Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences Research Day will be held April 19th from 8 am to 12:30 pm at the Margherio Conference Room, Mazurek Education Commons, Detrooit, MI. The event will feature a keynote talk from Dr. Philip Levy on "Should Health Care be Replaced by Health Culture?" Faculty researchers will also give talks: Dr. Jinping Xu on "Patient-Doctor Shared Decision Making in Screening and Treatment of Prostate Cancer." and Dr. Elizabeth Towner on "WIC-Academic Partnership to Eliminate Preschool Obesity Health Inequities." Trainees of the department (MPH students, medical students, residents, postdoctoral fellows) will be featured in both oral and poster presentations.
