DFMPHS Honors Administrative Professionals and Celebrates Elissa Firestone’s Retirement

On June 26th the department took time to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day during the faculty meeting, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our administrative staff: Lisa Blackwell, Elissa Firestone, Hillary Bruce, Michelle Holz and Sarah Donaldson.

The celebration was especially significant this year as we also honored the retirement of Elissa Firestone, who has been with the department for over a decade. Elissa has played a pivotal role in the success of the MPH program and her thoughtful, dedicated work has left a lasting impact on students, faculty, and staff alike. The faculty and staff enjoyed the opportunity to come together in celebration—not only of a milestone career, but of the daily efforts that keep our department thriving.
