Biography

Dr. Ware has a PhD in epidemiological sciences and Master's degrees in pubilc health and statistics from the University of Michigan.  She is a research investigator at the University of Michigan Research Center for Group Dynamics in the Biosocial Methods Collaborative and part-time faculty for the Wayne State University MPH Program.  Her research focuses on health disparities in biological and social determinants of chronic diseases, particularly psychiatric disorders and cardiovascular disease risk factors. Her work seeks to identify, explain, and reduce socioeconomic, gender, and racial/ethnic health disparities across the life course. She has a love of teaching and incorporates technology and non-traditional approaches into FPH 7350 SAS Programming and FPH 7240 Epidemiology.
