Dr. Campbell-Voytal is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences and also serves as the Director of the MPH Program. As a medical anthropologist and an advanced practice nurse, her research emphasis is in the area of chronic disease prevention and health promotion. Her research focuses on diabetes prevention and obesity risk reduction in ethnically diverse communities. She is also engaged in primary care practice-based research and clinical research improvement in settings serving diverse populations. Dr. Voytal teaches a required core course in the MPH curriculum, FPH 7320 Social Basis of Health.
