MPH Program Reaccredited Through 2032!
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am pleased to share some long‑awaited and exciting news regarding the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Wayne State University.
Following a comprehensive review during its June 2025 meeting, the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) has officially reaccredited the MPH program for a seven‑year term, effective through July 1, 2032.
This outstanding outcome reflects the quality, dedication, and impact of our MPH community. It would not have been possible without the thoughtful engagement and support of so many individuals who contributed to the November 2024 CEPH site visit.
A heartfelt thank you to our:
- Students
- Alumni
- Faculty
- Staff
- Internal advisors
- External advisors
Your participation played a critical role in demonstrating the strengths and successes of our program to the CEPH reviewers. Each of you helped tell the story of our shared commitment to public health education, research, and practice.
On behalf of the MPH program, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to building on this achievement together as we prepare the next generation of public health leaders.
Warm regards,
Rachel Mahas, PhD
Director, Master of Public Health Program
