Biography
Dr. Bassett served as the MPH Program Graduate Student Officer, environmental health professor and advisor.  He was also engaged in the development of new multi-disciplinary problem-based courses and in the establishment and evaluation of mechanisms for assessing competence-based educational outcomes.

Biography
Dr. Gallagher now serves as a Professor Emeritus after serving for many years as the DFMPHS's Director of Medical Education. His areas of expertise include: curriculum development, instructional skill development, learner assessment and program evaluation. He also has a long-time personal and professional interest in the areas of cancer education and cancer control.

Biography
Dr. Jamil uses the knowledge he gained from 38 years of experience in occupational & environmental health to promote a healthy and safe working and everyday living environment. He is also active in local, national and international research conducted by the division. He successfully builds research collaborations with local community non-profit organizations and academic institutes at the international level, in particular among Middle East countries. He also works as a project coordinator to the MINH study entitled Mental health in Iraqi refugees: Importance of post-displacement social stressors from 2010-2014. He also worked as Co-investigator to a study entitled The Stress Resiliency program aimed at strengthening Iraqi refugee's potential employability from 2011-2012.

Biography
Dr. Roth’s graduate degrees are in education with a focus on understanding how people learn and helping individuals to increase their effectiveness as teachers and learners. She directs faculty development programs in the areas of career advancement and teaching skills for clinical and basic science faculty at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Roth collaborates with the school of medicine the faculty and administrators to understand their learning, resource and training needs. She also provides support to faculty from appointment through retirement with a range of professional development programs and other mentoring activities.

Biography
Dr. Schenk is is board certified in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine (Occupational and Environmental Medicine). Dr. Schenk chaired the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences from 1998 through April, 2010, when she was promoted to Vice Dean. Dr. Schenk is a Gold Humanism Honor Society Tow awardee and has been a teacher, advisor, and mentor to medical students and family medicine and preventive medicine residents for over 18 years.

Biography
Dr. Severson served as the instructor for FPH 7240 Epidemiology I and as the Director of the MPH Program.  He is trained as a cancer epidemiologist, and for several decades has been involved in cohort and case-control studies of prostate cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, pancreas cancer, kidney cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphocytic leukemia, and multiple myeloma.
