Biography

As the Director of Medical Student Programs, Dr. Binienda oversees the department's medical student educational programming including scholarships and awards, curriculum development, educational research, the active teaching of interpersonal violence assessment, anxiety and depression in the primary care setting and end-of-life care. She is one of the faculty advisors to the Robert R. Frank Student-Run Free Clinic. She is also the faculty advisor for the Rural Medicine Interest Group for medical students.
