Biography

Dr. Tsilimingras is an associate professor, Co-Director of the Michigan AHEC (Area Health Education Center), and Director of Patient Safety in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences. He is a health services researcher with expertise in patient safety and quality of care. His work focuses on post-discharge adverse events, the identification of adverse events after discharge from the hospital. He has several publications on post-discharge adverse events including editorials. He also serves as ad hoc reviewer for several prestigious medical journals and grants reviewer for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
