Third Party Comments For MPH Reaccreditation

The Department of Family Medicine & Public Health Sciences, Master of Public Health Program

The Master of Public Health (MPH) Program at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences was established by the WSU Board of Governors in 2004. In 2011, the MPH Program was awarded initial accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools and programs of public health. The program was accredited for the 5-year maximum. In May, 2016, the MPH Program will seek reaccreditation, and will host CEPH site visitors for a thorough review of all aspects of the program.
